It's not all that different.   There are thousands of affiliate shopping sites on the Internet.   Many people try to make money by setting these up and attempting to have people visit them and then click on links to other sites who are paying commissions for customers.   

Our site has three primary differences:

1. It is 100% supporting a local organization geared towards supporting the youth of our community.   The goal of this site is not to make money for anything except the organization.
2. You do not need to register on this site like you do on many other sites.   Other sites collect your information and then resell it to other companies as an additional source of revenue.   You have no privacy concerns with us.
3. It has no overhead and 100% of proceeds go to the North Andover Youth Center.   Many other affiliate sites (including those used by many PTOs and other organizations) are in the business of 'sharing' revenue generated by you directing customers to a site.   In other words, the destination organization (i.e. PTO) gets a much smaller percentage of the commission because part of the overall commission goes to this company running the affiliate site because they are in business to make money.
